BOOKING INFORMATION
Cancellation, Refund & Weather Policy
This policy applies to bookings made directly with The Real Deal Boat Tours for our private boat tours and confirmed airport transfers. Times below are measured from the scheduled start of the service in Saint Lucia local time.
If you need to cancel
Cancel at least 48 hours before departure for a full refund of the amount paid to us. Please contact us by email at info@therealdealboattours.com or WhatsApp at +1 (758) 724-5475 with your name, booking reference and scheduled date. We will acknowledge your request in writing.
If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, we will first offer to move your booking to another available date that suits both parties. If rescheduling is not possible or you prefer to cancel, we may apply a reasonable cancellation charge that reflects the notice given, arrangements already made and our ability to fill the booking. We will explain any charge and refund the remaining amount. We do not apply an automatic blanket “no refund” rule to every late cancellation.
Changes and missed departures
Please tell us as soon as possible if you need to change your date, departure time or guest count. Changes depend on availability and may change your tour price. If you do not arrive for the confirmed departure and have not contacted us, we will review the circumstances and any refund using the same reasonable-charge approach.
Weather and changes made by us
Safety is our top priority. Our captain decides whether sea and weather conditions are safe for departure. We may adjust a route or stop for safety and will tell you about any material change. If we cancel your trip because conditions are unsafe, or because we cannot provide the booked service, you may choose an available new date or a full refund of the amount paid to us for that service.
Cruise ship guests
If your cruise ship does not call at Saint Lucia, or a change to its official schedule prevents you from taking the booked tour, contact us as soon as you know and provide the revised itinerary if requested. We will offer another suitable date if possible or a full refund of the amount paid to us for the affected tour. Please tell us your ship name, arrival time and all-aboard time when booking.
Airport transfers
A quote request is not a confirmed booking. Once your transfer has been quoted and confirmed, the 48-hour guest cancellation terms above apply. If your flight changes or is delayed, tell us promptly so we can review a revised pickup. Any change depends on availability. If we cannot provide the confirmed transfer, we will refund the amount paid to us for the service we could not provide.
How refunds are made
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. We will initiate the refund promptly and confirm it to you; the time it takes to appear depends on the payment provider and your bank. Bookings made through a third-party marketplace may be subject to the policy shown on that marketplace when you book. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under applicable law.
