These terms explain how booking a private tour or airport transfer with The Real Deal Boat Tours works. Our Cancellation, Refund & Weather Policy and Privacy Policy also apply.

Our tours and prices

Every tour is private, for your group only. Tour prices cover up to 8 guests (6 for Whale and Dolphin Watching), with a set charge for each additional guest. The current price, duration and departure times are shown on each tour page:

• Private Half-Day Snorkelling Adventure
• Private Soufrière Land and Sea Tour
• Private Sunset Cruise
• Whale and Dolphin Watching (up to 6 guests in the tour price)
• Private Airport Boat Transfer, on request and priced by personal quote

Booking and payment

When you book a tour online, you choose your date, departure time and number of guests, enter your details and pay in our secure FareHarbor checkout. Your booking confirmation is emailed to you straight away. Card details are entered only there, never in forms on this website.

Checkout shows the full total, including any booking fees, before you pay. Where the option is offered, you can pay in full or reserve with a deposit; the deposit amount is shown in checkout.

Airport transfers are priced by personal quote. A quote request is not a confirmed booking until we confirm it with you. We confirm availability and how to pay before anything is charged.

Cancellations, changes, refunds and weather

Our Cancellation, Refund & Weather Policy applies to bookings made directly with us and is shown before you pay. Bookings made through a third-party marketplace may be subject to the policy shown on that marketplace when you book.

Safety

Safety is our top priority. Our captain decides whether sea and weather conditions are safe for departure. We may adjust a route or stop for safety and will tell you about any material change.

Cruise ship guests

Please tell us your ship name, arrival time and all-aboard time when booking. Pickup and drop-off are available at Castries Harbour or at the location where your cruise ship docks. Your tour is planned so you are back at the pier before your ship’s all-aboard time.

Airport transfers

Transfers run from Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) only. A private taxi takes you to the dock, followed by a boat transfer to your agreed hotel or drop-off point. Each transfer carries up to 8 passengers with standard luggage.

Guest health and safety

Please tell us when booking about any medical condition, injury, pregnancy or limited swimming ability that could affect your participation, so we can advise you. Every guest must follow the captain’s and crew’s safety instructions. Life jackets are available on board, and anyone who is not a confident swimmer should wear one in the water. The captain may refuse or end participation for anyone whose behaviour puts themselves or others at risk, without a refund.

Children

Children are welcome on our private tours. A parent or guardian must accompany and supervise children at all times, on board and in the water.

Alcohol and conduct

Alcoholic drinks are served only to guests of legal drinking age and in moderation. The crew may stop serving alcohol to any guest at their discretion. Illegal substances are not permitted on board.

Personal belongings

You are responsible for your personal belongings, including phones, cameras, jewellery and glasses. Please keep valuables in a waterproof bag. We are not responsible for items lost, damaged or left behind, although we will try to return anything we find.

Photos and video

Our crew may take photos or video during your tour. We will only use images in which you can be identified on our website or social media with your permission. You may take photos and video for your own personal use.

Liability

Boat tours and water activities carry natural risks. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for your own health and fitness to participate. To the extent permitted by the laws of Saint Lucia, we are not liable for injury, loss or damage that is not caused by our negligence, or for delays or changes caused by weather, sea conditions or other events outside our control. We recommend that you have travel insurance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Saint Lucia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page when you book applies to your booking.
